Approximately 40 kilometers of mineralized gold/silver systems are known to exist at San Jose. Four new discoveries have been made since late summer 2005, including some of the highest-grade gold/silver mineralization yet found at San Jose. This is in addition to about 10 existing targets which warrant further exploration. In fact, less than 10 percent of the mineralized systems known to exist have been explored at depth. Proven and probable reserves or a measured and indicated resource for the developing San Jose mine have been calculated on 2.2 kilometers -- barely five percent -- of these high-potential mineralized systems. The current resource, based on a positive, bankable feasibility study, is 700,000 ounces of gold equivalent. Using a cutoff grade of 100 grams per ton (g/t) the Huevos Verdes vein has an indicated resource of 1,058,000 tonnes with a silver grade of 266.8 g/t and gold grade of 3.1 g/t, for a total of 9,075,300 ounces of silver and 106,000 ounces of gold. The inferred resource is 1,541,000 tonnes with a silver grade of 318.7 g/t and a gold grade of 3.5 g/t for a total of 15,789,700 ounces fo silver and 173,000 ounces of gold. (Equivalent figures are based on a 60:1 silver/gold ratio which does not take into consideration possible differences in metal recoveries). Maps and Photos:
